About Gecko Digital Solutions
Gecko Digital Solutions is a sole proprietor business run and owned by John Cogan from within South Africa.
John collaborates with several other companies and/or teams of talented people who have been in the business of building websites for a long time. First earning his stripes in the new media industry in London for several years, working on a varied number of sites and applications, he moved back to South Africa at the end of 2005 and started Gecko with the intent of simply using it for his existing overseas clients.
Fast forward to 2010 I was approached by a few local IT and marketing companies who did not have access to a full time developer. This kicked off Gecko Digital Solutions as a full time consultant business and is now working with several different companies both in the UK and in South Africa on different projects.
Philosophy
With there been too many cowboys around only looking to make a fast buck rather than building a lasting relationship with their clients, John see's his philosophy as giving the client the right advice and the right solution and providing customer service and support, which is lacking too much in these trying times of an economic rollercoaster.
If a solution is not required we will not recommend bells and whistles simply to sell something you don't need, you will get exactly what you want and we will recommend only technologies and features you will get the most from. Of course if you want that fancy whistling doo-dad simply because its cool we won't disuade you from having it.
